About the register
There are more artists nearby than any one person knows about. Some would welcome a studio visit, a sketch walk, a drawing group, a gallery outing, or help making a small event happen. The register makes those invitations easier to find.
A directory of local artists who have named what kinds of low-pressure art-community contact they welcome.
A register, not a social network
There are no feeds, likes, followers, public comments, popularity rankings, advertisements, or behavioral tracking. Artists are not asked to become content producers. The useful part should happen away from the website.
Small and artist-run
This is a human-maintained community resource rather than a platform. Listings and event notices are verified and reviewed before publication. The aim is a dependable local record, not endless growth.
Contact on your terms
Each artist chooses public links, a public email, or private messages from other verified listed artists. Private email addresses are not published. The private message relay is still in testing and will only be fully enabled once email delivery is configured.
Privacy and safety
Harassing, threatening, sexual, discriminatory, manipulative, or otherwise inappropriate messages are not tolerated. Recipients can report and block senders. Event organizers may show only their town and share the exact address after RSVP.
